The new 2023 Tern Vektron S10 folding bike has an almost infinite number of uses. Whether riding to work and having the versatility to fold the bike on or off a train, getting to work and tucking away under a desk or all round leisure riding, the new Vektron S10 can do it all.
The Schwalbe Big Apple tyres fitted as standard are suitable for both on tarmac and light forest tracks, bridle ways & canal tow paths. The folded dimensions are just 41x86x61cm, meaning it can even fit into the boot of a small hatchback!

Features
The new Tern Vektron S10 could be the most versatile Bosch eBike on the market. Looking for portability and an efficient German assisted eBike? The Tern Vektron S10 does just that.
For 2023, the Vektron S10 gets an upgrade to the Bosch Performance Line motor, giving it a useful power boost with an extra 15Nm of torque over previous models.
The Vektron S10 offers a unique approach to frame design. With a telescopic seat post and adjustable angle stem, it can accommodate riders from 4ft 10 to 6ft 5. Few other bikes allow for such a vast range of rider type.
Whether under the desk at work, getting it on and off the train or stowed away in the back of your car or motor home, the Tern Vektron S10 is our most versatile and portable folding electric bike.
In 3 simple steps - The handlebars fold down, the frame folds in half and the seat can be retracted to fit this electric bike into even the smallest of places with ease.
The Tern folds from a complete bike down to folded format in under 10 seconds. This is due to the patented folding mechanism, which naturally folds as you release the catches
Brakes & Gears
As is now standard on Tern folding electric bikes, Magura hydraulic disc brakes front and rear offer a user friendly, low maintenance experience whilst having enough stopping power to bring you and your cargo to a halt quickly!
Gearing on the Tern is provided by Shimano's Deore 10 speed drive train, for simple shifting both up and down hill.
Operated using a dual action trigger shifter on the handlebars, the Shadow+ rear rear derailleur keeps the chain taught even over bumpier terrain.
Magura's MT4 brakes are an incredibly strong set of anchors and fit perfectly and the stop and go urban riding style.
10 speed gearing in the form of the Shimano Deore 11-36t group set is well balanced for city riding and light off road use.
Deore trigger shifters are quick, smooth and reliable, making this the perfect commuter bike.
Wheels & Tyres
The Tern Vektron S10 is grips with decent Schwalbe Big Apple tyres which are designed for maximum grip whilst keeping rolling resistance to a low. More importantly they include kevlar lining protection to prevent annoying punctures.
The S10 comes equipped with Schwalbe Big Apple 20"x2.1" tyres. An excellent all purpose option, being a 20" wheeled bike there is a huge crossover with other styles of bike and so future tyre options are vast. More importantly they include the kevlar lining protection to help prevent annoying punctures.
The bottom line..
Although compact, the wheel base is that of a regular bicycle, the handlebar, fork and overall geometry give for a nice smooth and comfortable ride whilst maintaining the practicalities of being able to pack this cargo bike away.
Tern have developed a fully built in LED lighting system front and rear. Completely powered off the Bosch system there is no need to carry bulbs, batteries, and they can't be easily stolen and reused.
The new Tern Vektron electric folding bike ticks the boxes for those looking for a nice ride and neat solution to travel and storage. A nice simple, but good quality electric bike, suitable for a mixture of riding styles and rider heights.
Power
The new 2023 Tern Vektron S10 folding electric bike features the Bosch Performance G3 crank drive motor, 400Wh PowerPack battery and Purion display system.
The 250w Performance system provides 65Nm of torque and peaks at over 500w! It certainly packs a punch, offering up to 300% assistance in turbo mode. Featuring 4 levels of assistance (and remember you can always turn the power off and ride it as a normal bike) ranging from 40 to 300% assistance.
For 2023 Tern have equipped the Purion display, offering all the essential parameters on one easy to read display, including:- Speed, assistance mode, average, speed, range, odometer and battery bar.
The Bosch Purion display is effortlessly simple to use and offers the rider "at-a-glance" speed, power mode and battery information.
The Bosch Performance Line motor has long been a common feature on Tern bikes. With 65Nm of torque, its a serious boost whether riding alone, or loaded up.

The Bosch PowerPack 400Wh battery neatly sits just below the seat, keeping the centre of gravity as low as possible for maximum stability.
What's included
Your new Tern electric bike gets a full set-up by our workshop technicians ahead of delivery.
Your Tern eBike will arrive with a user manual, keys (where applicable), charger & free follow up service (at our service center) within 3 months of delivery.
Tern electric bikes include a 5yr warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics and 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims via our dedicated support in-house.
E-Bikeshop is a Tern UK eBike Service Center and our in-house workshop is exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We have time to support the eBikes we sell.

We generally keep over 150 eBikes built in our showroom. Note: Some models shown as 'Pre-Order' may not be in the showroom to view as the bike is still due from the supplier. We can also give you the opportunity to ride a similar electric bike so you can get a feel for how electric bikes work prior to purchase.
Should you wish to purchase, we give the option to take it away that same day (subject to stock) with any extras fitted and a handover session on the bike itself by one of our eBike experts.
