Features
Featuring the Bosch Performance CX motor system, Kiox 300 display and Bosch's biggest 750Wh Powertube battery cleverly incorporated within the frame, the new 2023 Haibike Trekking 8 is a great contender for those just starting out in the world of electric biking, or those who are looking to go much, much further.
Haibike have equipped the new Suntour Mobie 25 suspension fork which is optimised for eBiking. They offer slightly longer 100mm travel for added comfort and air adjustability so the rider can set the fork pressure to their preferred settings. It also features a compelte lock out.
These forks have a through axle wheel mounting; meaning taking wheels on and off is a breeze and takes just a few seconds if you need to put the bike in the car. They're also much stiffer which tends to work better for heavier riders. This is the same for the rear wheel too.
Brakes & Gears
The Haibike Trekking 8 comes complete with a Shimano gear system and brake setup to match.
The Shimano hydraulic disc brakes inspire confidence when stopping on any electric bike, whilst being relatively maintenance free and dont require any form of adjustment.
Brand new for the Trekking 8, Haibike havefitted Shimano's new Deore 11-Speed drivetrain, offering 11-51t gearing which is one of the widest possible on any trekking/touring eBike.
The gears are controlled by a simple handlebar trigger that selects the gears up and down while pedalling, compeltely seamlessly.
Shimano MT410 brakes are a strong set of anchors and will pull the Trekking 8 to a stop quickly, even in adverse conditions.
Shimano Deore 11 speed gearing is simple to use and offers an exceptional ratio range only normally found on mountain bikes.
Shimano Deore trigger shifters are smooth, easy to use and require little effort to quickly zip between gears.
Wheels & Tyres
The 2023 Haibike Trekking 8 uses 27.5" (650B) wheels, optimising the benefits of both 26" and 29" wheels and combining them into one fast rolling, easy to manoeuvre wheel size.
Matched up with Schwalbe AL Grounder tyres, the wheel and tyre pairing gives a comfortable feel as the broader tyre absorbs the 'British roads' better and allows for more grip whilst maintaining lower rolling resistance on the road. These Schwalbe tyres have an extra strong nylon carcass to prevent punctures!

The Haibike Trekking 8 2023 Low eBike is equipped with all the essentials including front/rear lights (Powered by the Bosch eBike system itself), mudguards, a rear rack and side stand. Considering all of this and the German build quality, it's an exceptionally well priced bike when matched against its specification list.
Power
The new Haibike Trekking 8 2023 Low eBike features the latest Gen 4 Bosch Performance CX crank drive motor, with a brand new twist.
The recently updated 250w CX system now provides 85Nm of torque and peaks at 500w. With 4 assistance modes, it can now provide up to 340% assistance in Turbo mode.
In addition, the new eMTB mode allows the user to set off in one assistance mode and clever sensor driven system will provide exactly the right amount of power right when you need it and less when you don't.
Included with the new Smart System Generation 4 motor and 750Wh battery, the 2023 Trekking 8 Low also benefits from the new Kiox 300 colour display.
The new Bosch Kiox 300 display is neat and super compact with a bright, intuitive LCD display screen and tailored around helping riders with their training. It can also be updated wirelessly via the new eBike Flow app.
Their most powerful motor yet, the Generation 4 Performance CX motor with its 85Nm of torque will power riders up any hill with minimal effort.
The Bosch PowerTube 750Wh battery neatly fits inside the frame. The whopping 750Wh battery is the latest in the Bosch eBike line-up offering the very longest range possible. It can be charged both in the bike or when removed.
What's included
Your new Haibike electric bike gets a full set-up by our workshop technicians ahead of delivery.
Your Haibike eBike will arrive with a user manual, keys (where applicable), charger & free follow up service (at our service center) within 3 months of delivery.
Haibike electric bikes include a 5yr (Alloy) or 2yr (Carbon) warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics and 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims via our dedicated support in-house.
E-Bikeshop is a Haibike UK eBike Service Center and our in-house workshop is exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We have time to support the eBikes we sell.

We generally keep over 150 eBikes built in our showroom. Note: Some models shown as 'Pre-Order' may not be in the showroom to view as the bike is still due from the supplier. We can also give you the opportunity to ride a similar electric bike so you can get a feel for how electric bikes work prior to purchase.
Should you wish to purchase, we give the option to take it away that same day (subject to stock) with any extras fitted and a handover session on the bike itself by one of our eBike experts.

For delivery on 'Pre-Order' items, the estimated arrival date is shown at the point of order. On arrival our team will make contact to settle any outstanding balance. Once settled in full, we'll then proceed to dispatch your new eBike without delay.
