The 2022 Haibike AllMtn CF 12 uses the same frame as the much of the rest of the AllMtn range and its AllMtn 6, 7 and SE predecessors from the previous model year, but with a keen eye on performance at a mid-spec price point.
Perhaps the most exciting update for the new model year is the new Yamaha PW-X2 motor previously seen on their top of the range AllMtn SE. With an impressive 80Nm of torque and a battery that really does allow riders to go all day, this new AllMtn model from Haibike will be one the bike to beat on the trails in 2022.
Regardless of what terrain you put the AllMtn CF 12 to work on, the eMTB specific Rockshox ZEB Charger R air forks and Deluxe Select Plus can soak it up in 160mm of plush travel.
Offering multi-way adjustment and tuning allows you to tailor your setup to your weight, riding style and terrain with a complete 180mm of travel front and rear.
Brakes & Gears
Continuing the theme of top shelf componentry, the Haibike AllMtn CF 12 gets the very best Shimano anchors in the form of the XT BR-M8120 set up.
These 4 piston brakes offer a huge amount of braking force, making them a perfect option for manufacturers looking to pull an eBike to a stop on even the steepest and most technical descents.
The new single finger levers offer multi-directional adjustment for the perfect pull, every time. Paired with monster 203mm discs up front and 203mm at the rear, this tried and tested competition capable setup is and easily maintained but ultra powerful.
12 Speed gearing has become the "go to" choice for eMTB manufacturers in the mid-high price tier, and the 2022 Haibike AllMtn CF 12 gets its 12 gears to match its brakes for 2022 in the form of the Shimano XT 8100 ShadowPlus group set.
Its super wide ratio 10-51T cassette really takes the sting out of the long ascents, without holding you back in top speed on open ground and downhill sections and offers a useful gear for every scenario, regardless of terrain.
Larger 13t pulley wheels reduced overall provide better chain management while increasing efficiency and are directly compatible with boost 12 speed cassettes.
Working together, the Shimano RapidFire shifters and the the ShadowPlus clutch system offer smooth, precise and chain slap free shifting on the fly.
Faster piston retraction gives superior modulation and much greater fast & slow speed control.
Shadow Plus rear derailleur keeps chain tension in check and chain slap to a minimum.
The Rapid-Fire Plus shifters provide smooth but positive, on-the-fly shifting.
Wheels & Tyres
Continuing the AllMtn trend, the CF 12 also gets a "mullet" wheel set up with a 29" front and 27.5" rear in the form of DT Swiss HT1900 gravity specific components.
The 2022 Haibike AllMtn CF 12 tyre setup offers a clue to its purpose.
With a Maxxis Minion Assegai MaxxTerra up front and a Maxxis Minion DHR II at the rear, these Tubeless Ready tyres are designed to be fast, precise and provide useful feedback on any terrain and can be set up tubeless when we build your new bike at just £49.99.
The bottom line..
he AllMtn CF 12, like most Haibike models is aggressively styled with a highly "angular" aesthetic. Offering full internal cable and hose routing including the factory fitted dropper post, everything is tucked neatly out of the way.
The high gloss Dynamite Red paint finish is eye catching and shows off the incredible level of attention to detail in the overall build quality and component integration.
Power
The new 2022 Haibike AllMtn CF 12 eBike features the brand new Yamaha PW-X2 crank drive motor, so you can be sure it's fitted with the latest kit & setup for optimum performance.
The new 250w PW-X2 system outputs 80Nm of torque with big improvements to motor support at higher cadence levels and a whopping 360% of support.
This newly refreshed and much more natural eMTB experience comes with improved torque and rider assistance in all modes with significantly lower pedalling resistance and weight allowing for greater trail speed.
The Allmtn CF 12 also features a brand new 600Wh Yamaha battery. Completely integrated into the frame, Haibike have cleverly designed it so it can be charged both on and off the bike.
The new Yamaha Side Switch display is compact and mounted on the left handlebar. Intuitive and easy to use, the LCD display screen is easy to read and navigate on the fly.
The Yamaha Side Switch offers immedate data on speed, powermode and battery status, with more information available when scrolling through screens.
Smaller, lighter and with more power than its predecessor, the PW-X2 offering more assistance at higher cadences - perfect for climbing in the saddle!
The Yamaha 600Wh battery is integrated neatly inside the frame. One of the largest in the range, it offers up to 160 miles of assisted pedalling.
What's included
Your new Haibike electric bike gets a full set-up by our workshop technicians ahead of delivery.
Your Haibike eBike will arrive with a user manual, keys (where applicable), charger & free follow up service (at our service center) within 3 months of delivery.
Haibike electric bikes include a 5yr (Alloy) or 2yr (Carbon) warranty on the frame, 2yr warranty on all the electrics and 1yr warranty on the components. In the event of a problem, we handle all warranty claims via our dedicated support in-house.
E-Bikeshop is a Haibike UK eBike Service Center and our in-house workshop is exclusively reserved for our own eBike customers. We have time to support the eBikes we sell.

We generally keep over 150 eBikes built in our showroom. Note: Some models shown as 'Pre-Order' may not be in the showroom to view as the bike is still due from the supplier. We can also give you the opportunity to ride a similar electric bike so you can get a feel for how electric bikes work prior to purchase.
Should you wish to purchase, we give the option to take it away that same day (subject to stock) with any extras fitted and a handover session on the bike itself by one of our eBike experts.

The bike rides incredibly well - quiet, no clunky gear shift or brake squeal and I flew up hills around Headley Heath I have never succeeded in climbing before. It coped with narrow rutted single track on chalk very well with predictable handling. All in all the best e bike I have ridden by far - and it looks great! Highly recommended !
