This is a replacement speed sensor cable for the Bosch motor drive unit. It connects to the motor via the standard connector plug.

This item trails along the swingarm and reads the wheel rotation speed off the rear wheel magnet.

I foolishly took my broken bike to another shop for repair and after 2 weeks of waiting for them to order parts I ordered them from ebikeshop and got them in under 24 hours. I was able to take the parts to the shop for them to install.
