Had my mind set on a Raleigh step through

Had my mind set on a Raleigh step through ebike. The large national shop "you know who" has pathetic levels of stock so I widened my search to "raleigh step through" and landed on "ebikeshop". They were offering much better scope of choice so I found what iwanted and even more. Alfred, aka "Fred" was to hand to expertly handle all questions and the bike was on its way. During my enquiries and after I took delivery, Fred answered the phone and email queries instantly, such a change to the impersonal attitude we receive from other services. Wish I had listened to others to had said " should have done this earlier" Cant believe how good the bike is. Thank you Alfred for your service.

I love my Motus Low Step Grand Tour

I love my Motus Low Step Grand Tour - I'm a middle aged, non-athetic lady with short legs, who was looking for a bike that would enable to me to get out and about on mainly roads and the occasional trail. This bike has suited me really well so far. E -Bikeshop were very helpful and kindly ordered in the version with 26 inch wheels from Raleigh for me - this turned out to be exactly the right decision, as even with the smaller wheeled model, the saddle is almost down on it's lowest position (I'm 5ft4 with 28 inch inside leg measurement). The bike itself is well equipped - everything works as it should and the bike feels well made and solid. The tyres cope well with gentle off-road riding, although not so well with full gravel. The racktime compatible pannier systems is great, I have got a trunk bag with fold out panniers, which is brilliant if I decide to pick up some shopping on the way home. The Bosch system is very efficient - pretty effortless riding up all but the steepest hills, and for someone like myself who's not particularly technical, I like the fact the bike only has 9 gears as it means you only have one chainring to worry about. The only things I've changed so far are the saddle (for a Brooks) and the bell (which sadly didn't work at all). I am still on the fence about the slightly swept back handlebars, but I'm getting used to them. Overall, really happy with my purchase, and appreciate the willingness of e-bikeshop to do a custom order for me for the version with smaller wheels.

Hi, 62 year old male and 5x female. We bought these bikes on a whim at New Forest show. Took delivery from Martin on Saturday.

We live on Isle of Wight, and just took them both for a spin in twilight, up Tenyson down golf course near the Needles. Quite steep, loose pebbles and way beyond us with our normal bikes. They are the biz. I was unsure we would take easily to them, but once on them, they performed well. Need to take care over cattle grids as it is easy to go over too hot, the bikes are quite heavy compared to standard steeds, which is exciting!

Of course, they seem expensive, but so far look to be worth it, good quality bits and very sturdy.
They hooked onto our camper van and Astra estate with Thule G2 tow bar carrier a doddle, and seem quite stable. More to come when we find their niggles ;-)Of course, they seem expensive, but so far look to be worth it, good quality bits and very sturdy.

This bike is everything I was hoping from an

This bike is everything I was hoping from an electric bike, after visiting the cycle show in 2013 and months of reading ebike reviews I was a bit nervous of spending such a lot of money. However after my first cycle ride on the Raleigh Motus I am 100% convinced that I have chosen the best bike for me and I love it.

The nicest surprise was the comfort, I haven't rode a bike for over a year and yet on my first ride I did a 20 miles circuit without any discomfort.

After a couple of days with the power setting set to 'TURBO' and being so impressed, I am now backing the power down to 'Tour' and finding this is absolutely perfect for a pleasurable cycle with just the right amount of much needed exercise I can now also join my two teenage sons without holding them back (in fact they are saying their new exercise routine is called 'keep up with Dad' ).

I would highly recommend e-bikeshop, particularly for the Raleigh you can buy with confidence.
In summary, I couldn't be happier!
